BIOGRAPHY
I'm a music producer, guitar teacher, sound engineer, composer and session musician, with a never ending passion for all things music and sound! Variety is the spice of life... So I always focus on becoming as versatile as possible in my fields of work. I have an ever expanding repertoire of work containing many different styles of music. From your musical bread and butter to some weird (and questionable!) works amassed in my 18 years of experience.
Primarily active in my own project studio in Rathfarnham, South Dublin, I enjoy doing my absolute best to help musicians of all sorts realise their musical visions, by transforming them from bedroom/shower singing musicians to professional sounding artists.
Music teaching is an absolute passion of mine and I've had many students who have gone on to study music at third level. I work as a teacher from my own project studio and I've been active in many music schools. I currently teach in the Des Carty School of Music as the head guitar teacher and with Music Generation South Dublin.
As a full time musician myself, I have toured Ireland playing many of the top venues and the biggest music festivals, from Dingle's Other Voices trail to Kildare's Oxegen, supporting acts like Kodaline, Aslan, Walking on Cars, The Coronas & Paddy Casey. I've also worked as a live sound engineer at Electric Picnic.
I graduated from the Contemporary Music Performance course in the Ballyfermot Rock School in 2009.
After many years of touring Ireland as a musician and a live sound engineer, I returned to college in 2016 as a mature student to study Creative Music Production in Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design & Technology.
I graduated in 2019 (Bachelor of Arts), with the highest distinction and was awarded student of the year.
Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Creative Music Production - First Class Honours 2020.
